揚聲理髮 - Yeung Sing Hairdressing

在遊人熙熙攘攘的營地大街旁，有一巷弄叫趙家巷。趙家巷跟營地大街旁的幾條小巷一樣，有賣水果、乾貨、海味和香燭祭品。要說它與別巷不一樣的地方，就是屹立於此數十年的老店─揚聲理髮。揚聲理髮由黃伯伯一手打理，別小看這間街頭理髮店，從以前洗頭、理髮、造型一條龍服務，生意非常興旺。和黃伯伯談天的途中，有對街坊夫婦來光顧，伯伯隨即去鋪面對面的舊屋拿出他自己的『謀生工具』。伯伯按照街坊的要求馬上理髮，理髮中的黃伯伯非常專心，氣定神閒，不消十分鐘就完成了客人的要求。原來理髮不是伯伯的第一份職業，也沒有拜師學藝，理髮的技藝純粹是自己的興趣和練習所得。他視這份職業為興趣，也透過這間理髮店和街坊保持聯繫，這是他的消遣娛樂，為他帶來滿足感。而之後要經營多久，黃伯伯並沒有想太多，只要有精神有力氣的一天，他每天都會繼續在趙家巷看報紙，和路過的街坊談笑風生。面對時代的改變，伯伯並沒有太多的慨嘆，而是用豁達的人生態度去面對這些轉變。而樂觀處世，更是一份瀟灑。

​ In the popular Rua dos Mercadores, there is a small ally called Travessa da Porta. Same as other small allies, it has a lot of traditional products such as fruits, dried food and seafood available for selling in Travessa da Porta. However, looking into it, you will see something different from other allies—Yeung Sing Hairdressing. This street hairdressing saloon is operated by Uncle Wong; washing, cutting, styling, all is done by him. This saloon is very popular among locals. As we are talking with him, there is a couple comes by, and immediately he takes out his tools from his store room. We can see that Uncle Wong is highly concentrated on his work, calm and neat. Uncle Wong told us that hairdressing is not his first job in his life, and he also didn’t follow anyone as an apprentice before he started the business; hairdressing is just his interest and all the skills are learned by himself. For him it is not just a business but also a hobby. He also uses this street saloon as a linkage with his neighbors, this is his way of life, that gives him satisfaction and enjoyment in life. About future, Uncle Wong stated that as long as he still can do it, he will keep on his daily life, serving customers, reading newspapers and chatting with neighbors. Through changes within years, Uncle Wong does not have much sigh at all, instead he sees these changes positively, this kind of optimistic mind is an ease.
